It is virtually impossible to imagine the last 30 years of rock music without the influence of Bauhaus. They have inspired countless bands and have mesmerized the masses. With their final LP, Go Away White, Bauhaus have created an album as exciting and relevant as their first releases that left a permanent mark on the face of music.

Reviews:

Almost 30 years after their formation, the highly influential U.K. quartet is rising from the grave and bearing tidings in the form of their first album since 1983. The catch is, due to unspecified intra-band strife, Go Away White is going to be their last. How perfect that birth and death should have equal billing in the last gasp of Bauhaus. The band first reconfigured at a 2005 Coachella one-off, which later resulted in a handful of dates with (of course) Nine Inch Nails. Those lucky to attend caught early versions of new tunes "Adrenaline" and "Endless Summer of the Damned," which fans will be happy to know are very much in the vein of the Krautrock/dancepunk/disco/glam wonderment they experienced over the preceding four Bauhaus records. It's always a rare thing when a band can get together after an extended sabbatical and not totally sully their legacy (cough, cough, the Stooges), so we hope luck is on Peter Murphy and company's side.
