For some reason, everybody more or less yawned at the new Bloc Party, so the next lads down in the UK dancepunk hierarchy get their close-up. It's a Bit Complicated is certainly as hyperactive as Silent Alarm, or even the Arctic Monkeys debut. The trick is not confusing them with their peers of today (Maximo Park) and yesteryear (Franz Ferdinand' okay, "yesteryear" is a bit harsh). The loopy "Direct Hit" aims to do just that.
