Limited 180gm audiophile vinyl LP including insert. Blessing in Disguise is the third studio album by heavy metal band Metal Church. New vocalist Mike Howe joined up with the band for the recording of this 1989 release, replacing David Wayne, who left the band. Mike Howe brought the band a fresh boost of energy and the album represents some of the best material in the band's long career. Some critics and fans even claim this is the best Metal Church release. The album was produced by the legendary metal producer Terry Date (White Zombie, Deftones, Dream Theater), who previously worked with the band on the 1984 self-titled debut album. Highlights on the album are 'Anthem to the Estranged' and 'The Spell that Can't be Broken'. Overall the album contains impressive, heavy guitar work. Metal Church gained all lot of respect for their contribution to metal music and Blessing in Disguise is a classic!
