Reviews:

''The Price of Fame'' is the fifth studio album by American rapper Bow Wow, released on December 19, 2006 (see 2006 in music).

The first single from the album is "Shortie Like Mine" featuring Chris Brown and Johntá Austin. The second single from the album is "Outta My System". The third single was "I Don't Know About That". The fourth and final single was supposed to be "4 Corners", but was never released as a single and a video was not shot.

Every track on the album is edited, although explicit versions of songs such as "Shortie Like Mine" & "4 Corners" & "I Don't Know About That" were recorded.

The album peaked at number six on the ''Billboard'' 200. - Wikipedia

Shad Gregory "Bow Wow" (formerly "Lil Bow Wow") Moss is 19 now, and we can all identify with being just a bit awkward at 19. Except Bow Wow was being groomed for stardom by age six by friggin' Snoop Dogg, so with a guiding mack hand that strong, he's probably never really struggled with, say, the ladies. Yet, he grew up a more or less "clean" rapper, an image cemented by his turn as a starry-eyed orphan who finds magic kicks and dominates the NBA in 2002's gloriously horrendous Like Mike. So for all these reasons, we're a little wary of this allegedly "edgier" follow-up to 2005's breakout Wanted, even though Bow Wow is more or less a grown man who can do whatever the hell he wants. Luckily, if single "Shortie Like Mine" is any indication, he's going to go the gentlemanly route and not creep us out, erring on the side of innuendo and holding firm to his R&B roots. Of course, in the spirit of Jay-Z, he's planning to "retire" after Price runs its course. Oh well'"nothing immature about nurturing the capitalist instinct.
