Telltale is a four piece alternative-rock band from Richmond, Virginia. The band pulls influence from various genres, rock, metal, hip-hop, emo, and more. Telltale doesn’t commit to a single genre, but could be best described as “grunge-pop.” With the distorted guitars and melancholic chord structures of acts like Superheaven and Chevelle, mixed with the vocal cleanliness and memorable hooks of acts like The Kid Laroi. Throughout their career, Telltale has been a fierce advocate for mental health awareness and destigmatization. Through both their sound and lyricism, this topic is often further focused on vocalist John Carteret’s struggle with bipolar disorder.
