The Love Language is an Indie Pop band from NC whose debut is a story of redemption. In 2007, Stu McLamb got drunk, trashed his band's practice space, broke his wrist, and the band showed him the door. He moved to Winston Salem. ''...with a girl I thought was the love of my life but felt absolutely miserable,'' Stu reflects, ''We had unhealthy tendencies like throwing beer bottles at the wall when we fought.'' Six months later they call it quits, Stu pounds a fifth of Aristocrat and wakes up in solitary. Shocked by the sh*t he'd landed himself in, McLamb sobered up, moved again, worked hard at a hotel -- songs started appearing and he began tracking the first Love Language album.
