More Info:
As country music's reigning diva, Tanya Tucker has been singing and performing since the early '70's when she launched her career at the young age of 13. Her rough-edged style and charismatic live shows propelled her to the top of the charts and garnered her widespread country music fame. Now, even with a new generation of future country divas, Texas born songstress Tanya Tucker is back - and she's leading the pack just as she did 30 years ago when she became the first female country star to grace the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. As Tanya Tucker performed on the legendary Billy Bob's Texas stage, and with thousands of fans singing the words to all her hits, she reminded the audience why she is still the Queen of Country Music. Tanya Tucker's ''Live at Billy Bob's Texas'' is another in the series featuring various country music artists performing at Billy Bob's nightclub in Fort Worth, Texas, the club that promotes itself as "The World's Largest Honky Tonk." In Tucker's long career this is only the second live album that she has released. All of the sixteen tracks are live versions of some of the better known tunes in her career, ranging from her first hit, "Delta Dawn," in 1972 to "Hangin' In" in 1994. A DVD version of this album is also available, and contains four additional tunes: "Oh What It Did to Me," "Love Me Like You Used To," "A Memory Like I'm Gonna Be," and "Texas (When I Die)." - Wikipedia
