France's preeminent trip-hop twosome continues to do good work while Portishead ponder (and ponder some more) their comeback album. While there's nothing on Pocket Symphony that warrants the ubiquity of "Sexy Boy" or chills quite so perfectly as their Virgin Suicides soundtrack work, these lilting ballads thrive on the incorporation of atypical instrumentation (Japanese floor harp, etc.) It's the perfect complement to the latest Sigur Ros. Chill out. Seriously.
