Bucky Covington was a finalist in the 5th season of American Idol, where he went on to win the hearts of the American public finishing 8th on the show. The first single from his debut Record is"A Different World."Reviews:
With the exception of M.I.A.'s gloriously annoying "Bucky Done Gun," the name "Bucky" just doesn't pop up in the pop stratosphere too often. Mr. Covington here won't buck that trend, but only because his milieu is sincere-to-a-fault country/Southern rawk. Homeboy came in eighth place in the fifth season of American Idol, an astonishing feat seeing as how his thick accent and faithful Nashville strum doesn't have much in the way of crossover potential. We predict he'll carve out a nice niche on Lyric Street.
